Let’s Be BFF’s, Please?

Don’t you sometimes wish you’re BFFs with someone you’ve seen on TV or watched in the movies? That compared to your current friends (whom you love with all your heart shuddup I don’t want to get in trouble here), they’re just exponentially cooler?

Well, you’re not alone ‘coz I’ve been thinking the same things. In fact, I figured I better just put ‘em on my blog with the hope that the said people might stumble upon this entry and realize that I should be hanging out with them instead, spreading awesomeness together in this dark, forlorn world.
BFF #1: Sam Oh

I have actually met this girl a few months back and we would’ve started a great friendship if I wasn’t such an idiot and didn’t go “OMG! I love you! I always watch your show and I think you’re cool and great and please marry me yadda yadda yadda *bitchslapped*”. No kidding, I let the retard in me talk. She was really nice though, giggling at my silliness. Sam inspired me to do this list even. I mean, why would anyone NOT want to be BFFs with her? She’s bubbly and fun and trilingual and a big dork and she’s even down to earth. I swear, I can think of 10 million other reasons why I wanna be BFFs with Sam Oh so if you’re reading this and you know her, please tell her about me. Sam, I totally see myself eating kimchi with you. Like totez.

BFF # 2: Tyra Banks

Some people criticize her for being a hypocrite- dealing with weight issues in her talk show when she herself created the hit model search that is ANTM. But who cares? She’s a woman, she’s colored, she’s built an empire and her name’s not even Oprah! I think she’s a big bitch in person but so am I, that’s why I think we’d hit it off right away. Plus, she’s not afraid to look silly or talk about her insecurities and Ms. Banks wants to make young girls’ dreams come true…. Awwww. Sitting beside her might make me look an anorexic midget but that’s instant make-over, y’all! Fierce.

BFF #3: Ninomiya Kazunari

If you don’t know him, well, chances are you’re normal. He’s part of the Japanese boyband Arashi and was in Clint Eastwood’s Letters to Iwo Jima. The first time I encountered him (when I watched his Konseki performace) I knew we were meant to be. He is my ideal man personified. Awesome actor, great performer, makes the best songs in Japan, average boy-next-door and well, hilarious and full of crack. So fine, I don’t just want to be his BFF, I want to be his GIRLFRIEND, demmet! I wanna be Nino no koibito and make crazy Japinoy babies with lung cancer with him!

BFF # 4: The sassy girl

It just dawned on me recently that Gyun-woo’s girlfriend was not really named in the movie; that she was just referred to as “the girl”. Anyway, yes. I know she’s but a fictional character but I thought sassy kicked major ass (not to mention she’s one helluva pretty, too). And kids, she’s just misunderstood, okay? Deep inside her violent, drunkard, randomly vomiting exterior is an emotionally imbalanced girl trying to get to terms with her lover’s death. Argue with me AND DIE!!!

BFF # 5: Dawson Leery

Because you know, I’m actually Joey Potter. Man, was I addicted to the Creek back in high school. In fact, I can honestly say I grew up with the Capeside gang. And I so envied his best friend for having a Dawson in her life, who would let her go to his room through his window and do her on his bed later on. Another fictional character I have issues, you see but hey, we both even want to become film-makers! He’s rather boring for my taste, however, yet his relationship with his Joey was magical. And then Tom Cruise ruined it all. He is indeed, the anti-Christ.

To those who may not know what BFF is, it’s best friends forever. Just saying best friends is tad too corny.
