I’ve never featured someone else’s entry here since I started this blog but I just had to share this one with you. It was written by my friend, Joselle, whom I love dearly and well, let’s just say you might learn a thing or two from her. I know I did. Ahahahaerm nah… she wrote this a few weeks too late. (I kinda edited it a bit)

I am three hours late for your breakfast and you are always three hours early for my lunch.
Time zones are really fun. Conversations about hiking, not getting the text messages, long emails and boring times, birthday greetings, gift and parties. Oh, this is the art of flirting.
So, I am making a list on how to flirt ON a timezone. I haven’t been in the playing field for a long time. And I was amazed that I had managed to carry a conversation; it was then that I realized it was me- flirting.
10 THINGS TO DO WHEN FLIRTING ON A TIME ZONE
1. Talk about movies. You can easily tell how the person thinks when it comes to movies. And from the choice of his/ her movies, you can work around the idea on how to flirt with him/ her.
2. Telling how drunk you are after a drinking party episode. It just shows that you have that FUN side of you.
3. Teasing. Tease him about his pictures on friendster, facebook or multiply. I know it may come off as a negative idea, but it does work.
4. Plans. Since the conversations are all online, thru IM, YM, Facebook Chat and emails, you can talk about your plans for the following day, the next weekend or the next long vacation. And somewhere in the middle, you can make plans with him/ her but we know, they won’t really come about.
5. Crushes. Make him/ her jealous. But not really. Just show that you found this guy really really cute and you have the HOTS for him. Actually, it’s not really making the guy jealous, just making him realize you can actually like someone else.
6. Work. Work is really blah. But talking about what you do is a piece of conversation. And besides, you can find out about what s/he does and can decide if it is worth the time to flirt ith him/ her. Oh, and don’t forget that you have work and it sucks. It sounds pretty lame but it looks cute.
7. Boring days. Tell him/ her about your lame days and nights and how boring your life is. Just like this IM conversation:
Girl: I had a boring day at the province today.
Boy: It goes like that when i’m not there with you. (flirting)
Girl: Haha. Right. (flirting)
Boy: We can have fun time, bring me there when I go back.
Girl: It’s so boring I have to back to Manila within 24 hours. (not replying to the flirt)
Boy: Told you. I’m sorry it’s boring, it happens like that sometimes.
Girl: Got to have breakfast now.(seems not interested anymore)
END OF CONVERSATION.
8. Music. Your party music. Your travel music. Your “EMO” music and such. Music feeds the soul, and so I believe. Haha. But it is a good topic to talk about just like this email:
from girl: I’m listening to “Much Said About Nothing” by Mamboo now and “Get Away” by Tristan Prettyman. It makes me go to sleep and forget about my stressful day.
from boy: I’m listening to this Hawaiian artist now and I tell people I’m in love with the Philippines. I love the bamboo song.
Cheesy. And yet, effective.
9. Being sick like a puppy. When you are sick, tell him/ her. Act helpless. It shows you are also weak SOMETIMES. And this is where s/he will tell… “you take care” or you say, “don’t forget your vitamin C”.
10. And don’t forget, JOKES. Exchanging jokes is the fun part in flirting. I’m always the happy kind of person who love to tell jokes and love to hear jokes.
So there, the 10 things I realized i just did when I flirted on a timezone. It’s fun and at the same time enlightening. I’m actually learning more about myself and what I want.
Don’t you just love the world wide web? It makes our world a little bit smaller .

Oh yessss. I really love the intarwebz but the differences in time zones, I’m not such a fan of. X_x Also, I want to go shopping. I really do but I’m broke (and it doesn’t have anything to do with the topic). And just so you know, our standard time zone here is UTC/GMT +8 hours. I mean, just in case you wanna know…
