The last time I took an IQ test (a few months ago), I got a score of 127. It’s supposedly “superior”, with only about 6.7% of the population having IQ that high. Well, yeah. I took it on tickle, the same website which has tests to find out whether you’re a pirate or a ninja or who your red carpet match is. Truly, it’s reliable.
So when my boss, who happens to be the prez of Mensa Philippines asked me to take the test, I was obviously hesitant. I mean, what if I fail? What if I’m not Top 2% material? What if I find out that in reality my IQ level is really… 65? In the end I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, gathered up my courage and decided to take it because I know that no matter what happens, Mensa or no Mensa, Imma be a star… LOLZ.
Mensa is the largest, oldest, and best known high-IQ society in the world. It is a non-profit organization open to people who score at the 98th percentile or higher on a standardized, supervised intelligence test.
98%. Deym.
Anyhoo, I may or may not have taken the test last Saturday with fellow bloggers and friends Fritz, Coy, Tiffy, Winston and Benj and we may or may not have suffered from epistaxis and memory loss after. Those guys are bad-ass smart and I was in the same room as them. I think it’s safe to say that I may or may not have imploded with pressure and decided to just imagine the teletubbies shooting a hip hop music video instead.
I DARE YOU TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE. I mean, really. What have you got to lose? Even if you don’t pass the test, it doesn’t mean you’re stupid. You prolly could be underestimating your self, too! Who knows, you actually have what it takes to be part of an effing exclusive society. And that’s as much bragging right as having a sex tape with Justin Timberlake or Megan Fox (or both) floating ’round the net, don’t you think?

Mensa? You know I think my sister was offered to be part of Mensa years ago…but like if you’ve ever seen Jurassic Park – Jeff Goldblum’s character -the “Chaotician”. That’s my sis. She actually understands Chaos theory….O.O
I can’t remember if I took the Mensa test or not…but then Math and stuff is totally not my thing…if you ask me about History and Mythology or the Space Program that’s another story…You don’t have a Yuri Gagarin Night there do you?

They said for this leg it would just be for Manila but eventually they’d bring the test to the different parts of the country… Wow, whattaformal reply. lolz.
