FunnySexy at the Philippine Blog Awards 2009!
I was once asked what makes me unique as a blogger. The answer’s simple, really. I’m a dreamer, a character, a friend, a kid, a supahstah, a fangirl, a media practitioner, a daughter and many other things. I just happen to blog about my life.
To some people, being referred to as a “blogger” is almost a responsibility, a label to live by. And I think it’s LOL, really. It’s like saying you’re a “commuter” or a “tax payer” or a WTF a “Lovaaaahhh! A Mr. Lovah Lovah!” Maybe it’s ‘coz I don’t intend to be a pro anytime soon and I don’t even earn a penny from my blog (Actually, a month or so ago, I received a letter from Google that said I’ll receive $10 from my earnings since January. I have not heard from them since -___-;;).
I believe that blogging (personal, at least) should come naturally. No pressures and what not. If you are honest about what you write and you do it not for anyone else but your self, then I think people will be drawn to your works.
Having said that, well, I’m happy to announce that…
The 2ne1 Fan
“Eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh 2ne1!!!”
Do you guys remember my spazzy long-ass post about Dara in Manila last month? Well, apparently, it got around and my marriage proposal for TOP made some fans lol. So much so that the admins of 2ne’s international fansite, 21evo.com, decided to make me their first featured vlogger!!! YEY!!!
-HERE BE THE FEATURE. IT WAS AN INCREDIBLY COOL ARTICLE!-
It’s awesome, really, especially since (I’d like to believe) this is my forte and I got to be a fangirl and a vlogger at the same time. I’m a ‘tard like that and such trivial things excite me. You can shut your face now kthnx -_-. Anyhoo, they sent me a list of questions, which I answered on video and as expected, pure crack came out of it.
WARNING: Kpop-intensive. If you’re not familiar with the names and the terms, you might end up scratching your head so much, it will bleed.
Thank You, India. Thank You, Terror. Thank You, Disillusionment
I’d like to believe that I’ve always been a grateful person. Even when I pray, it’s mostly to thank God for all the blessings (and even the misfortunes sometimes) that come into my life. I also think that people don’t thank enough or better yet, they don’t realize the many things they should be thankful for – a smile from a stranger, the rain on a really hot day, that single penny on the sidewalk. Little things like that.
Personally, I’m most thankful for three things – my faith, my family and my friends (I’d like to add my career, too but to me, those three F’s are the most important). Also, if I write down ALL the things I am thankful for, I’ll run out of bandwidth.
That being said (I do like long introductions, don’t I?), as much as I don’t enjoy participating in contests like this, I didn’t hesitate to be part of the “Toblerone Spread the Sweetness of Gratitude Photo Competition” because I do believe in the objective of the “cause”. Well, I’m not joining per se but funnysexy readers can definitely participate!!!
