… Or how I got unglamorously wasted inside a McDonal’s CR in my 4-inch heels. Bow.
So last week, I got invited by one of my closest friends, Coy, to their Blackberry launch at Members Only. Mean, how could I say no? First, it’s Coy. Second, I’d get to party with the gang and third, I’ve never been to MO and I wanted to check out the posh bar/club.
Globe indeed knows how to throw a party. The crowd’s more “mature”, which is what I like and yeah, they basically showcased a really cool product/gadget.
If you’re looking to trade up to a device that fits your work hard/play hard lifestyle, prepare to covet the Blackberry Bold 9700 smartphone, the newest offering from leading telco Globe. While the Blackberry Bold 9700 has all the trappings you’d expect from a bonafide workaholic — uber-long battery life, crisp screen resolution, the usual hookups via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HSDPA, and an easy-glide Trackpad that’s an improvement over clunky trackballs –- there’s a lot more to be said for this baby. This hot handset from Globe is a sleek and shiny lust-have, with all the bells and whistles to help you get things done while still having fun.
I’m sure a lot of people would need a Blackberry Bold 9700 smartphone for their career and business and whatnot though I’m not so sure if I want a push email feature on my phone. Lol. That’s just me though… I mean, when I’m out of town and on the beach and the boss is trying to reach me, I always want to have the excuse to say “But sir! I didn’t have access to my email over the weekend! The dog ate my phone!”
It was awesome though, we got to go home with an Enjoy Philippines kit containing up to P 250,000.00 worth of gifts, discounts and VIP privileges from over 250 of your favorite shops, clubs and restaurants. Apparently, if you’re a post-paid subscriber you get that extra feature! Not bad, huh?

define “shala”
