Krimmy Couple: The Korean Eats Balut! (episode 2)

OMGSH YOU GUYS! This is perhaps one of the best videoblogs that I’ve done – EVER!!! It may not be the cleanest or the most brilliant technically but it’s just made of pure love and crack. It’s super Krimmy, too! For my 21st *ahem ahem* birthday, JejeKim ate his first balut for me as a gift. And what a funny gift it was!

The Internet Superstar and Web Celeb!
You read that right! I am now… a weennur!

Since the dawn of film and television, many have desired to become celebrities and stars. People have gone to auditions, joined talent shows and even hired handlers just to share a spec of the limelight. Unfortunately, the silver screen and the boob tube aren’t as big as most aspiring ‘artistas’ may think, and do not have enough space for everyone.
That’s where the internet comes in. The World Wide Web is clearly much bigger than your local broadcasting companies and has even created a shift in power – now, the audience can decide who the stars are. These days, you don’t have to be backed up by a marketing or production team for fans to line up for your autograph!
Video sites like Youtube, social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, and other personal and niche blogs have paved the way for what we now call ‘internet superstars’. Guess what. You can be one, too and here are some tips and guidelines.
1. Know who your future fans are
Just like any other marketing practice, you have to know who your audience is and you have to speak their language. And by language, I don’t mean dialect or mother tongue. Many internet celebrities are popular in their own locales because their audience can relate to them; can put their foot in his or her shoes.
And once you’ve established who they are and what they like about you, practice fanservice – give the fans what the fans want and you’re on your path to stardom.
IT’S aLIVE!!! (The Flippish Live Anniversay Party)
Last year, we killed television. This year, we’re going aLIVE!!!
I can’t believe it’s already been a year since we launched Flippish.com. I still had short, black hair back then and was still “Single Since Birth”. Dear gawd, I was even in my 2ne1-Hyori outfit of pwnage. It was an incredibly fun event and the Flippish kids felt like superstars that night…
And now, after 364 days, we’re partying at Fiamma again because Fiamma is love.
