Paradis Natural Ice Cream

It’s a fact that I’m not a “lifestyle blogger”. You wouldn’t really get to read stuff on my blog about the latest spa that I’ve tried or that flip flops event in a high-end mall or a 50% discount on a travel package. I realized I’m no foodie either. I don’t go out of my way to try “the best food in town zomg!!!!” and honestly, I’ll be satisfied with canned tuna and crackers. However, once in a while, I chance upon some really nice treats, some stuff that I feel are worthy to blog about. One of that is Paradis Natural Ice Cream at Tomas Morato.

Paradis Natural Ice Cream. I suck as a blogger. I have no establishing shots!

So we featured them on Go Negosyo and though we feature a lot of businesses there on a weekly basis, I’ve never really blogged about any of them here. But Paradis caught my interest because of something, which I’ll reveal later. Anyway, as their band name explains, it’s an all-natural ice cream. Not pre-mixed, not stored for months in the ref. In fact, they make the ice cream straight from their kitchen EVERY SINGLE FUCKIN’ DAY! That’s as fresh as Aga Mulach back in 1982.

Wait. You mean you can cook my ice cream in front of me? What’s that, an omelet? Amazing!

Seriously, who cooks ice cream nowadays? That’s reserved for like emperors and I dunno, the Dalai Lama. I’m not an ice cream person (though I’m a BIG cake girl) and I’m sure there are A LOT of good ice cream parlors in the metro. But who can claim that they cook their ice cream everyday? I got to interview the owner, Ms. Troy Hatcho and she said she really wanted to merge the concept of ice cream with the concept of healthy food. I didn’t even know that was possible.

Funny Sexy with the owner of Paradis Natural Ice Cream, Ms. Troy Hatcho.

I think, however, more than the fact that their ice cream is healthy, their unique and out-of-the-box flavors make the costumers come back for more! I mean, c’mon, Thai Milk Tea? Chili Chocolate with Safron? Red Beet and Oranges? Wasabi?

The Paradis Natural Ice Cream Cheering Squad (clockwise): Thai Milk Tea, Red Beet and Oranges, Chili Chocolate with Saffron, Strawberry, Coco Vanilla, Malunggay (center) Wasabi. I’m srsly waiting for Kimchi flavor.

I got to taste everything but personally, I liked their Thai Milk Tea (because I love tea), Hazelnut and Red Beet and Oranges the most though the Chili Chocolate with Saffron is too spicy for me. SRSLY. It’s not an after-taste. If you’re into hot and spicy food, you’d enjoy it (unfortunately, I’m not). Their Pumpkin ice cream is worth a try, too! However, there was one flavor that got me to write this entry. That flavor is in fact making me want to go to Tomas Morato now to buy a pint. Two words: Coco Vanilla

Don’t worry, someday, I’ll be a better food photographer. For now, I’ll just be a superstar. Also, that’s its natural color. What are you thinking???

OMG JEEBUZ! I have no words. I totally was brain dead for 53 milliseconds after the ice cream touched my tongue. It was just… SERIOUSLY BITCHES, YOU GOTTA TRY THAT FLAVOR!!!

It was sooo good, I forgot my name. I thought that just happens in bed. LOL.

Remember. Coco Vanilla. Paradis Ice Cream. You gotta try it (and their other flavors, too). Btw, this is not a sponsored  post or anything. Also, their prizes range from Php95 – Php 300+ for a pint. It’s not for those who are kuripot or saving up money, for sure!

They serve delish AND HEALTHY cafe food, too, just in case you get hungry or whatever. Oh! Before I forget, do try their uhm… I forgot what it’s called. It’s a slushie kinda drink that sounds like mojito. Yeah, it’s refreshing and is made of herbs and such. ^^
