2AM Live at Newport Plaza Resorts World Manila

As we promised earlier this week, we’ll be covering the much-awaited 2AM Live in Manila 2011 event! The first leg of the 3-day “mall tour” was at the Newport Plaza at Resorts World Manila. Before I begin, I’d just like to personally thank Mr. Wilson Cruz of MCA for this media coverage and of course, PKCI for the VIP access. ^_^

All photos are by the Korean boyfriend, Jimmy Kim. I have videos, too but it will take longer to edit those ‘coz video editing is SRS BZNS (I’ll try to upload them over the weekend on MKBF)! OMG the coverage was super fun! I really love working with Jimmy, especially since he’s quite a good photographer. Also, we came all the way from Fairview and our cab fare was worth… Php450! It was all worth it though, I tell yah!

We saw A LOT of friends at the VIP area. The peeps from PKCI and 2OneDay Ph were of course there, Neri who was a fangirl friend from way back ’04, Beda of Megaworld and even Happee showed her support to the boys! Fun times!

Krissy and Ericka were the opening act and I felt kinda sad for them, especially when they were singing their last song and the fans were going crazy over the boys who were just coming in. No one was paying attention to them! T_T But those kids were great! When 2AM finally went out, the fans went wiiiild!

I didn’t get to come close to them so I dunno how tall they are but Jimmy said they are pretty tall. More than that, those boys could REALLY sing! They sang You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls and Like Crazy for this leg.

Obvious bias is obvious. Then again, I wasn’t the photographer! Maybe Jimmy likes Kwon, too!

I’m really happy with the photos. Well, the boyfriend hasn’t actually failed me yet when it comes to photography. I think this tandem works. LOVE YOU, BEBEH!!!!

Also, what really surprised me earlier and made my day at the same time were the girls who came up to me and said that they’re my fans or are avid followers of my blogs. Shout out to Michiko and her friend, Sheena! Also, (sorry if I mixed up your names) to Karen Mitzi and Kristine who even asked to have their pics taken with us! Srsly, my boyfriend was almost freaking out at the number of people who were calling his name and talking to him! LOVVEEETTT~
