What’s Your Birthday Gift for Me?

In ten days or so (June 24), I’d be turning a year older. Wow, I can’t believe a year has already passed since my friend (let’s just call her “Beki”) took full advantage of the open bar at my party at Fiamma and passed out / threw up on the VIP couch. Jimmy Kim carried her out of the bar, piggyback-style… ala My Sassy Girl. True story. I do not know yet how I’m gonna celebrate this year but heh, no need for a big shindig. I just want to spend some bonding time with my family and fun time with friends!

I’d like to believe I’m not a very materialistic person and honestly, for my birthday this year, I got big wishes. Wishes that are related to nation-building, women empowerment and other beauty queen stuff. Wishes that are too personal (and somewhat boring), I don’t want to write about it here (but I pray for them everyday). And so, I’ll just share with you the materialistic side of me and write about my more “tangible” birthday wish list.

1. New Sponsor for my Hair

I have decided to remain yellow-haired for the next couple of months and maybe take it a notch higher before my birthday by going all-out “CL bleach blonde”, which is many shades lighter than my current “Beyonce honey blonde”. Thing is, maintaining this hairstyle is not very cheap and the previous sponsorship for my hair care/styling has ended already. Boohoo. Hope I get a new sponsor for my ‘do! I’ll definitely credit you on my shows and gigs and blogs!

2. Open Water SCUBA Diving Course

Barracuda, I shall see you face to face someday.

I highly enjoyed my first SCUBA Diving experience last April (albeit it was full of crack and LOLZ) that I told my self, I’ll get a certification someday. I have no idea when that will be but if a good soul will offer a free course, it will be more than appreciated. I’ll also pose nude underwater for you. JOKE! Or am I really joking?

3. iPad 2 (but I can wait for iPad 3!)

I will not watch porn on it, promise! ^___^

Let me get this straight, I am not a Mac fangirl. I don’t know much about these tech companies and software and such to even give a shit. That’s why I think iPad works the best for me because it’s not complicated. Jimmy has one so I know my brain can handle the basic functions.

4. Batanes Trip for Two

I’ve always wanted to go to Batanes and I’d love to go there with my one and only JejeKim! It’s a perfect place for him to learn more about our people, where he cannot go complaining about the heat or the pollution, or the Filipinos charging him more because he’s a foreigner. Also, I ADORE STARS LIKE NO OTHER!!! I’d love to see the Batanes night sky. And yes, eat those muddafakken giant crustaceans.

5. Hyundai Accent 2012

Has to be automatic or someone will get hurt!

That’s why this is a wish list. I’m just wishing, okay? There’s a .001% chance that someone will actually give this to me – for free – as a gift. But still, if you’re just gonna wish, better wish for the cars I mean, stars!

- Couple ring *ahem ahem* (we don’t have any because somebody doesn’t wear accessories and thinks couple rings don’t serve any purpose -___-)

Actually guys, I’m just happy that another awesome year has passed and I learned more in life and met new, wonderful people over the last 365 days. I may not be “financially fulfilled” but I have been blessed more than you can ever imagine. I know that my other personal wishes will be granted soon and ’til then, I hope that you guys will keep on supporting FunnySexy! And oh, if you have your gifts for me, of course I will gladly accept them~ ^^
