2011 Tatt Awards Finalists! Vote Now!

EXCITING THINGS ARE… EXCITING!

The finalists for the 2011 Tatt Awards have been made public! Last night, the judges, nominees, and other invited guests gathered at Salon de Ning at The Peninsula Manila for the Tatt Awards Finalists’ Night! Define bonggelz. It was definitely Bonggalore, India.

I think it’s sad that I DON’T HAVE A SINGLE DECENT PIC FROM MY OWN CAMERA but trust me, it was a fun, fun night! I was with the other judges, Chico Garcia and Hans Roxas-Chua and the venue was packed with celebrities and other Pinoy social media movers and shakers! Oh, by the way, it was my first time at Salon de Ning and I LOOOVED EEET~

Let me just say that it was truly an honor to be part of THE COUNCIL. Judging the short-listed entries of ‘some’ of the categories was not only fun but was a learning experience for me as well. Having said that, here are the finalists for this year’s Tatt Awards!

1. BALL BREAKER - A blogger or a Twitterer who started a debate or revolution of opinions with one hard-hitting post:
Carlos Celdran, Lea Salonga, Faith Salazar, Noemi Dado and Dean Jeorge Bocobo

2. STYLISIMO – One word: FASHOWN:
Divine Lee, Laureen Uy, Rajo Laurel, Tricia Gosingtian and Mich Dulce

3. INDIE ROCKER – Musical bands and indie artists who continue to create and share amazing music online:
Up Dharma Down, Johnoy Danao, Giniling Festival, Paramita and JR Aquino

4. WORD SLAYER – Blogger with unique wit and humor that everyone’s trying to emulate.
Loi Reyes Landicho, Lori Baltazar, Gibbs Cadiz, Juned Sonido and Von Cryan Cuerpo

5. ARTISTE – Visual art, graphic design, animation, photography and the likes:
Nina Sandejas, Jin Joson, Robbie Bautista, Christian San Jose and AJ Dimarucot

6. TECH JUNKIE – Technology, gadgets, the internet and everythaaaang:
Marc Macanas, Carlo Ople, Abe Olandres, Sonnie Santos and Jayvee Fernandez

7. #THOUGHT-MOVER – It’s all about the hashtag, baby:
Bianca Gonzales, Lea Salonga, Vencer Crisostomo, Tonyo Cruz and Save Philippine Seas

8. THE ADVOCATE – Social media for a cause:
Filipino Free Thinkers, Save Philippines Seas, Elizabeth Angsioco, Blogwatch and Nina Terol

9. VIDEO SLINGER – My favorite category hahaha:
Mikey Bustos, Bekimon, Ashley Rivera, Fliptop Battles and Christine Gambito

10. THE ONE – You know, like Neo:
Laureen Uy, Flipino Freethinkers, Noemi Dado, Lori Baltazar and Abe Olandres

I swear, I ain’t voting anyone from the Video Slinger category because I kid you not, I LOVE THEM ALL!!! Anyway, go ahead, guys! VOTE VOTE VOTE for your favorite social media darlings (but please check their content first lelz)…
