10-Day Vietnam-Cambodia-Thailand Tour for Less Than $400
OMGSH. WHAT IS HAGGARDO VERSOZA.
Sorry if I had ignored this blog (and MKBF) for almost two weeks but I just got back last Sunday from an amazing and life-altering 10-day Southeast Asian backpacking trip with my friends. You know how much I spent all in? Less that $400. And that’s with an exchange rate of about 43 pesos. IF THAT IS NOT MADE OF WIN, I DUNNO WHAT IS.
I’m a self-confessed kuripot and I’m itching to first share with you guys our itinerary along with the amount spent before I blog about the details of our trip (since I got shitloads of videos). Trust me, bitches. You gotta do this cross-country adventure of a lifetime under Php17,000! FYI, the fee breakdown is for four people. You might need to spend more if you’re alone or less if you’re in a big-ass group like the Japanese.
HO CHI MINH, VIETNAM

That’s me, hangin’ out with the Viet Congs.

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA

I fell in love with Cambodia so so much! First time to ride the ATV!
And you’re only halfway through the trip!
SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA

Tomb Raider does not give justice to the magnificence of this place.
The Angkor Tour will definitely take a whole day, more if you think temple ruins are serious business.
I bet you cannot even the do that. The elephants pwn your faces.
Bangkok is the Mecca of shopping, IMO. Baht at Php 1.42 exchange rate.
The total expenses are more or less Php 20, 400 but that already included about 2800 Baht worth of shopping, which is equivalent to around Php 4,000! If we take out the shopping, it’s about Php 16, 400, which sums up to dun dun dun duuun – $380!!!
Vietnam-Cambodia-Thailand for less than $400??? IT CAN BE DONE!!!
Keep posted for my detailed blog posts about the sights, sounds, tastes and colorful histories of these amazing countries. But my fave is hands down CAMBODIA. Miss you all~ And congrats, Shamcey Supsup! ^^
ps: Separate airfare cost around $100 (MLA-HCM and BKK -MNL).
