Alodia’s Fantasy, unlike many of the cosplay activities that Filipinos are used to is NOT an event – it is a show. A show with cameramen, with floor, technical and main directors, with editors and high production value. It’s like a TV special, except online. And who else can pull off something this big but Flippish.com – the pioneer of livestreaming entertainment in the country. No, I ain’t just saying that ‘coz I was their creative director or host before…

Since it’s not bound by TV or cable, this show is NOT JUST for local fans but for international cosplay enthusiasts as well!!! Yes, guys, as long as you have internet connection, you can watch and participate!!! Alodia’s Fantasy is, after all, the First Online Interactive Cosplay Show.

We’re all aware that Alodia has many haters who would automatically hate everything and anything that she does. This show is NOT for them. This is for everyone who appreciates cosplay for what it is and enjoys the craft and the performance factor that goes hand in hand with it. This is for Alodia’s legions of fans and there literally are millions of them. Man, what would I do to have 10% of her fanbase! LOL.

So what can you expect from the show?

- Two hours of pure cosplay extravaganza featuring some of the biggest cosplayers in the country
- Cosplay 101 presenting the fundamentals of cosplay
- Performances from special guests (though I’m most excited about Ashley’s number! Heard she’s doing Ace of Bass covers! Ikaw na ang blonde, teh.)
- Live chat with the Queen of Philippine cosplay
- and A whole lot more!!!

I’ve been excited about this ever since Flippish told me about it during the conceptualization stage some months ago and finally, I could share the news with everyone! Make sure you catch Alodia’s Fantasy on October 22, 2011 8pm-10pm GMT +8!
