Cebu Pacific’s Wandering Juan Music Video Contest Judges
Do you guys remember the Cebu Pacific Wandering Juan Music Video Contest that I wrote about last month? Well, it’s culminating tomorrow, January 31, 2012 and our friends from Cebu Pacific just wanted to let everyone know who exactly will be judging the entries. Are you ready for this? It’s none other than meeeeee! LOL joke, of course not.
Three of the country’s top filmmakers and photographers will judge the entries. Cebu Pacific Air, in partnership with the Department of Tourism’s Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), is giving travel aficionados who are into documenting their trips, the opportunity to help promote the country’s must-see destinations and sort of like become ambassadors. I mean, how can you not want to become ambassadors of your own country, right?!
First judge is filmmaker Paolo Villaluna. He is director of acclaimed weekly documentary Storyline and is an Urian award-winning filmmaker who has represented the Philippines in several international film festivals.

tvN K-POP Star Hunt Philippine Finalists (Part 2)
A few days ago, I posted the first part of my tvN K-POP Star Hunt Philippine Finalists special feature and as promised, I’m back with part two. This time, it’s a video of the three, sharing their experiences and their talent! Yes, I asked them to sing and those kids are goooood! More than that, they know what they’re talking about so I didn’t have a hard time editing the video!
Smile! You’re on Kring’s camera!
Charlene, Rince and Charmaine talk about their training, explain why they want to be KPOP stars and even serenade you with their beautiful voices! Team Philippines FTW!

Four Perfect Prom Dresses under Php2,000
Prom season is just right around the corner. For sure, many teenage girls and their mothers are now scouring boutiques or contacting local designers for their dream prom dresses. But what if your budget is limited to say, only Php 2,000? Could you still find a nice dress? Of course you can!
We went window-shopping and checked out some of the perfect prom dresses under Php 2,000!
Grecian-inspired Purple Dress by Tomato
Php 800
As soon as we entered the store, this particular dress grabbed our attention because of how unusually purple it is – in a good way. This midi electro-pleated Grecian-inspired dress falls right below the knee and has a modest fit.
Young women have a tendency to go for the safe black and silver or pastel colors for the prom but we think that this dress will have everyone do a double take.
The dress is accentuated with a nice gold belt, which means you just need gold-colored accessories and gladiator sandals and you’re off to become a goddess for the night. You can also re-use this dress in formal events like weddings and dinners.
