Hey guys! I know I normally fail in all things girly and shit but I was gonna do my own makeup for the Park Shin Hye press conference and I thought I’d share with you guys how I did it. Simple and Easy Asian Makeup!!! This isn’t really a “tutorial” but if you learned something, then hurrah! I think, more than anything, what this just proves is that I look like crap without the help of makeup (but I don’t hate my self for that or anything).

I am very stingy and I’m in love with all things budget – airlines and hotels, clothes, gadgets and yes, makeup. I love cheap makeup! When I bought my first set of makeup when I was a segment host for this show on channel 5, I thought I had to buy Max Factor because well, it’s the “makeup of the makeup artists”. LOL whattastupid kid. I ended up spending a chunk of my talent fee and that shit didn’t even blend well on my face with my complexion.

Anyway, I know many of my readers are teens who have limited allowance so let me share with you the products that I legitly use, which are not only cheap but are very good as well.

1. LIPSTICK – BYS Lipstick Php 229

Cheap makeup =/= horrible or below avarage quality.

I just recently learned about BYS, an Australian brand through my friend, Ria Jose and my gazzz, I’m in love with this brand already! I bought my first shade just over a week ago (Sassy Salmon ‘coz I’m a Sassy Girl like that) and I’ve been wearing it daily ever since! BYS lipsticks are kinda like MAC or NARS except they’re about 80% cheaper! I looove and am not afraid of colors and their shades are uguhuguhuguh! Surprisingly, their lipstick lasts longer than I had expected so high five for that, BYS chemists! I have yet to try other BYS products though…

2. LIQUID EYELINER – Wet n Wild Mega Liner Php 299

Smudge-proof, unless of course, you cry (or host an event with no ventilation *coughDKFCFiestacough*)…

Been using this product since 2009. That’s right! Since I began wearing liquid liner. I never changed products because this one works sooo well on me! I mean, I’ve tried other Asian and Western brands, especially when I have my makeup done by other makeup artists by naaaah, this thing’s a gem *cuddles Mega Liner*!

I have no plans of making one anytime soon but it’s no secret that I want to have kids in the future. Four in fact. My dad has been bugging me to settle down and and start reproducing before my ovaries give up on me but as of now, it still makes me cringe. Some of my friends, however, have their own bundles of joy now and one of them is Russel Gabiola-Kho whom I’ve known since I was still a fetus. She had been bitten by the motherhood bug and she’s sooo into being a mom and taking care of her baby, Candice, that she had changed her Facebook name to that of her daughter’s, profile pic and persona included (she would reply to my posts as if she’s Candice and call me ninang lelz).
