Hair Makeover 2013
Hair Makeover 2013
I seriously needed a hair makeover. Last time I visited the Hairshaft Salon at The Podium was just before Big Bang’s concert last October. That was like half a year ago. WTF. My hair was up until the small of my back already, rather damaged, faded and is overall not very healthy. I particulary waited until my Cebu-Bohol trip was done before I scheduled a hair makeover session with my awesome stylist (since April 2010), Miguel! [click to enlarge photos]
This was what I looked like prior to the session. Faded hair was faded.
I didn’t really know what I wanted except that I wanted a lighter, browner color and that I wanted to look like Lee Hyori (I showed him her photos). LOL. The team (yes, team because many people will work on your hair) first colored my roots and after rinsing it off, he proceeded to cut my hair. And boy, did he chop off a lot! Sorry, I didn’t get to take photos of that. After the haircut, Migs asked his assistants to get some foil for my highlights.
Top: Five people were literally working on my hair. ; Bottom: Closer look at the foil. Because why not, right??
You see, when I ask Miguel for a certain color, he doesn’t just get a bottle of dye and put it on my hair. He uses as much as three different shades to achieve the over-all look so there will be “movement” and the colors will come alive. Though it takes about 4-5 hours, the results are always… first class.
Pet Express Doggie Run
I was never fond of dogs. Or pets for that matter. I got my heart broken when I was 13 because of a dog that I lost (but that’s for a different blog entry) and have never had a pet since. Until last year, when we got Kobe, our Boston Terrier and when I started watching the Dog Whisperer. ^^
Just last month, I got a new pet, a 3-month old (now 4 months) Shih Tzu whom my mom named Kay-Pup. Pronounced as K-pop. Like for realz. Legit. She sleeps in my room and likes to play a lot and I love love love her! Last month, too, we participated in her first out-of-the-house activity ever – the Pet Express Doggie Run 2013 and man, was it fun fun fun (like Rebecca Black’s Friday)! [click to enlarge photos]
#367 y’all! May bitch (literally a female dog) and I ran 1.5Km like champions!
Left: Me and baby! ^^ ; Right: Nuffnang Philippine’s Trixie Esguerra with her Pomeranian, Potato~
It was my first ever pet-related event, too so imagine how overwhelmed I was to see all those dogs together in one place! And it was a first for Kay-Pup to see that many dogs, as well. Let’s just say she became quite curious.
Simple and Easy Asian Makeup
Hey guys! I know I normally fail in all things girly and shit but I was gonna do my own makeup for the Park Shin Hye press conference and I thought I’d share with you guys how I did it. Simple and Easy Asian Makeup!!! This isn’t really a “tutorial” but if you learned something, then hurrah! I think, more than anything, what this just proves is that I look like crap without the help of makeup (but I don’t hate my self for that or anything).
Abracadabraaaa! DAFUZ IS WRONG WITH MY “BEFORE” FACE?!?!
Wanna know how I did it? Watch the video after the jump!
